The PVC Slotted Suction Line Inlet Filter is designed to provide reliable chemical filtration for softwash systems, chemical transfer pumps, and pressure washer downstream injection setups. Its slotted PVC construction allows chemical solution to flow through the filter while helping prevent debris, sediment, and salt deposits from entering pumps and chemical feed lines.
Designed specifically for sodium hypochlorite (bleach) applications, this inlet filter features a screen-free slotted design that eliminates the need for traditional nylon or stainless-steel mesh screens. The 90-degree elbow connection allows convenient chemical pickup from tanks, drums, and other storage containers. Available in five hose barb sizes to accommodate a variety of softwash and pressure washing equipment configurations.
Key Features:
-
Slotted PVC Filtration Design: Helps prevent debris, sediment, and undissolved particles from entering chemical pumps and suction lines.
-
High-Flow Intake: Multiple narrow slots provide a large intake area to help minimize flow restriction.
-
Sodium Hypochlorite Compatible: Designed for use with SH solutions commonly used in softwashing and exterior cleaning.
-
Screen-Free Construction: Eliminates traditional nylon and stainless-steel mesh overlays that can deteriorate in chemical applications.
-
90-Degree Elbow Configuration: Allows the filter to connect to a suction hose while remaining positioned within a chemical storage tank or drum.
-
Multiple Hose Barb Options: Available in five sizes ranging from 1/4" to 1" for different chemical feed and pump suction configurations.
-
Serviceable Design: Filter can be removed and cleaned as needed to clear accumulated debris and chemical deposits.
-
Versatile Applications: Suitable for appropriately sized low-pressure softwash pump suction systems and chemical injection setups.

Each purchase includes one slotted PVC inlet filter assembly with the selected hose barb size.
Important Notes:
-
Select the hose barb size based on your suction hose's inside diameter and the pump manufacturer's inlet plumbing requirements.
-
Use compatible, non-collapsible suction hose to help prevent restriction and loss of pump performance.
-
Not recommended to permanently hard-pipe the filter into the tank. The filter should remain accessible for removal and periodic cleaning.
-
Regularly inspect and clean the slotted filter to remove accumulated dirt, salt deposits, and other debris.
-
This filter is designed for low-pressure suction applications and is not intended for installation on high-pressure discharge lines.
-
Hoses, hose clamps, additional suction plumbing, and tank mounting accessories are sold separately unless otherwise specified.
