The MTM Hydro BRV31 Easy Start Unloader is an adjustable trapped-pressure unloader designed to regulate pressure and divert pump flow into bypass when the spray gun trigger is released. Its integrated Easy Start function helps reduce the load during engine startup, making compatible pull-start pressure washers easier to start.

Rated for up to 4,060 PSI, 12 GPM, and 194°F, the BRV31 uses multiple 3/8" female NPT ports to accommodate different plumbing layouts. This Italian-made unloader features a brass body, stainless-steel shaft, guided main spring, and black adjustment knob.

Key Features:

  • Easy Start function helps reduce engine-starting load
  • Trapped-pressure design diverts water into bypass when the spray gun closes
  • Dual inlet and bypass ports provide flexible plumbing options
  • Adjustable black pressure-control knob
  • Stainless-steel shaft provides resistance to rust and adjustment forces
  • Guided main spring promotes stable alignment
  • Durable brass valve body
  • Designed and manufactured in Italy

Additional Information:

  • Match the unloader to the pump’s rated flow and pressure. Never exceed the lowest-rated component in the system.
  • Use the correctly sized spray nozzle to establish normal operating pressure. The unloader should not be used as the primary method of reducing cleaning pressure.
  • Incorrect adjustment or restricted bypass plumbing can damage equipment or create an unsafe overpressure condition.
  • Confirm the port locations, available space, and plumbing arrangement before replacing another unloader model.
  • Unloader only; pressure gauge, hoses, fittings, and mounting hardware are not included.
