Killshot's Efflo & Calcium Remover is a professional-grade acid cleaner that cuts deep into efflorescence, calcium, calcium carbonate, and hard water stains like they owe it money. Built for the dirtiest masonry jobs, this blend melts through mineral deposits on concrete, pavers, brick, limestone, sandstone, river rock, stucco, shingles, EIFS, glass, anodized aluminum, and unpolished marble...without the overkill or unpredictable reaction of raw muriatic acid.
Use it to erase years of mineral buildup, or crank up the strength to lightly etch concrete before sealing or coating. It’s engineered for the pros who know when to get aggressive and when to go precise.
For Professional use only.
Surface Prep & Acid Cleaner Removes:
- Melts Mineral Buildup
- Efflorescence
- Calcium & Calcium Carbonate
- Hard Water Stains
- Etching from Pavers & Masonry Surfaces
Directions for Use
Rule #1: Always add acid to water. Never water to acid.
- Pour cold water into your bucket or tank first, then add Efflo & Calcium Remover to your desired mix strength (see below). Always test on a small, out-of-the-way section before going wide.
- Pre-rinse the surface to remove loose dirt, oil, or debris.
- Lightly mist with water so it’s damp but not dripping.
- Apply the product using a pump-up or chemical sprayer.
- Let it dwell for 20 seconds to 3 minutes...the foam tells you it’s working.
- Agitate with a stiff brush or broom if needed.
- Don’t let it dry. Rinse completely with a pressure washer or hose.
- For heavy or layered deposits, repeat the process or adjust dilution strength
Dilution Ratios
Mix strength depends on how bad the surface buildup is and how porous the material is.
- Thick Calcium / Concrete Etching: 1:1 to 1:4
- Medium Stains / Moderate Efflorescence: 1:4 to 1:8
- Light Stains / Maintenance Cleaning: 1:8 to 1:12
- Powdery or Surface Bloom: 1:12
- General Masonry Cleaning: 1:8
Coverage averages 200–400 sq. ft. per gallon on porous masonry and up to 1,200 sq. ft. on sealed or smooth surfaces. Allow the surface to dry completely before evaluating final results.
